Katie Gilbert started writing at 12 years old in the moments between updating her MySpace page and crafting the perfect AOL away message.
Though she's lived most of her adult life in places like the West Indies, New Jersey, and South Carolina, Katie considers South Georgia her home. The flat landscape, pine trees, sweet tea, and southern dialect always seem to find their way into her work.
When she's not writing, Katie spends her time sewing pixel quilts of her favorite video game characters, terrorizing a small town in the form of a goose, or paying absurd amounts of money to a raccoon for house upgrades.
